His Hands has been serving the uninsured and underinsured in the Cedar Rapids area for 25 years. We are so excited when we hear that one of our patients has obtained insurance. Sometimes that is through the marketplace or Medicaid, other times it is because they have a new job that offers them coverage. When a patient calls to schedule an appointment at the clinic, one of the questions we always as is if they have insurance. Once we find out they have coverage, our clinic can assist them in establishing care with a Primary Care Provider.
We have many wonderful providers at our clinic, but two doctors are retired and serve two days a week during our daytime medical clinics.
