Current Openings
- Listen to each patient’s concern(s), story, and where they are experiencing pain
- Educate patients in how to improve their health and obtain necessary equipment
- Possess strong cross-cultural skills
- Provide patients follow-up care and direction via phone
- Utilize interpreters, in-person and via video, to communicate with non-English speaking patients
- Assist providers with procedures and communication in exam rooms
- Create and maintain patient records within charting program
- Triage patients on the phone as necessary
- Ensure providers are equipped with appropriate supplies
- “Fill the gap” with an air of humility as Christ demonstrated while here on earth
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith and Statement of Values
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible.
- Be respectful of the God-given dignity of all persons.
- Have an active and current unrestricted Iowa registered nursing license.
- Be flexible with daily responsibilities.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch and reach overhead
- Maneuver throughout the clinic
- Be on your feet for long periods of time – up to 4,000 steps per shift
- Lift 25 pounds
- PTO: 1 week of sick time, 2 weeks of vacation, and 10 paid holidays
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (cost share with employer)
- 401(k) program
- Typical week will include 9:00am to 7:00pm on Tuesday, 9:00am to 5:00pm on Wednesday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday
- Flexibility is possible within the weekly schedule
- Estimated total of 20-30 hours per week

- Provide patients follow-up care and direction via phone
- Serve as a guide to our volunteer nurses
- Utilize interpreters, in-person and via video, to communicate with non-English speaking patients
- Assist providers with procedures and communication in exam rooms
- Provide medication room coverage as needed
- Create and maintain patient records within charting program
- Triage patients on the phone as necessary
- Ensure providers are equipped with appropriate supplies

- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is involved in a local church.
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith and Statement of Values.
- Be over the age of 18.
- Have experience the areas needed by the board: nonprofit governance, technology, human resources, building community connections, and fundraising.
- Knowing that you are part of a much larger picture, helping people to receive the healthcare they need and knowing God is glorified through the gift of your time.
- Meeting and working alongside new people.
- Keeping up on skills you may already have and/or learning new ones.

His Hands Board Member
Board Members of His Hands Free Clinic provide governance to to the clinic to ensure its mission is fulfilled.
Responsibilities:
Attend meetings, share knowledge, resources, and connections. Board meetings are the second Tuesday of odd months from 6 to 8 pm.
