His Hands welcomed Kris Cleveland in 2012. For 5 ½ years Kris has organized medical supplies making it convenient to store them for easy access when they are needed for our patients.
It is estimated that her efforts have brought more than $25,000 annually of usable equipment and supplies into the clinic and has been able to help more than 1,500 people annually, locally and all over the world.
In addition to meeting local needs, Kris spearheaded an effort at the clinic to bring excess supplies to JMS Transportation destined for Houston Texas after Hurricane Harvey. She boxed and transported over 20 boxes by herself.
Kris has made it possible for staff and volunteers to quickly retrieve donated items for patients. In addition, has made it possible for organizations to “shop” in the basement prior to medical mission trips.
Kris was recently nominated for Outstanding Volunteer through the United Way, and has been invited to attend the Time for Art: A Celebration of Volunteers event in April. Regardless of award, Kris IS an outstanding volunteer. His Hands, it’s staff, volunteers and clients are blessed by her service.
