Reports To Position: Executive Director
Pre-employment Testing: Background check and drug test prior to hire
General Statement of Duties
· Responsibilities include volunteer recruitment and management, working with volunteer committees, public speaking, and data management, assisting with special events, organize and lead volunteer in-service meetings 20-25 hours a week. Some evenings and weekends each month.
Qualifications
· Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
· Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, and the policies of His Hands Free Clinic
· Belong to a local community of faith
· Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
· Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills needed
· Possess adequate computer skills in Microsoft Office
· Be self-motivated, dependable, responsible and teachable
· Have maturity to respect and keep information confidential
· Be friendly and respect the dignity of all persons
Acceptable Experience and Training
· High school diploma or GED, required
· Previous volunteer management experience preferred
Duties
· Volunteer Recruiting
· Manage volunteer application and onboarding process (credentialing and background checks)
· Recruit volunteers for special projects and clinic staff needs
· Coordinated volunteer recognition events including Christmas party and gifts
· Maintain up to date competencies in best practices and legal aspects of volunteer management by attending community volunteer leadership meetings
· Write up new volunteer information for the E-Volunteer newsletter, staff meetings, and any volunteer updates on practices or procedures for both
· Maintain Volunteer Manual in conjunction with other departments
· Present to community and church groups about His Hands Free Clinic and volunteer opportunities
· Coordinate volunteer groups and gather volunteer task ideas from other staff
· Act as point of contact for all volunteer needs for the ministry for churches and other community organizations
· Track volunteer hours and create board reports
· Keep up to date on line portals for volunteer recruitment
· Organize and lead Volunteer in-service meetings
Special Events
· Coordinate volunteers for events such as Laughter is the Best Medicine
· Assist the Development Director in organizing community relations/donor cultivation events
· Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and reach overhead
· Ability to maneuver throughout the facility
· Ability to sit for long periods of time
· Ability to life 25 pounds
