Dr. Matthew Dietz

When asked about God’s leading, Dr. Dietz says it was no loud booming voice, but simply God’s hand leading his.

Dr. Matthew Dietz has been with His Hands Clinic since 2010.  The invitation to come and serve here came from a conversation across the fence with his neighbor at that time, Sharon Patten, former Executive Director of His Hands.

Dr. Deitz started his early career working towards becoming a med-tech at St. Luke’s but two months in, realized this was not for him.  Interestingly, and most likely God-lead, even though he had never been or really knew of anyone else who had seen or even was a chiropractor, he shadowed one.  It was there he found his place; that thing that was for him.

Becoming a chiropractor has given him the opportunity to put truth, hope, and life into people so that they can full fill  their purpose, as chiropractors believe that ‘the Power that made the body heals the body’.  This gifted Chiropractor has worked with professional athletes and USA wrestling.  He also served in an official capacity in the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics.

Outside of work and volunteering, he enjoys his family; a wife and 2 children ages 6 and 8.  He also enjoys being active, participating in sports, and hunting.

When asked what the best part of serving at His Hands was for him, he said it’s a continuation and passion of his work and that ‘it’s fun to know that you impact people’s lives that you’d never meet otherwise’. He was quick to add, that God also uses this opportunity to remind him of how blessed he is. A truth we can all echo.
